About us
Apostles Doctrine Church is a vibrant, spirit-filled church located in Lorain, Ohio. Our church is founded on the Apostolic and Pentecostal principles of the early church, bringing hope and biblical doctrine to our community. Our mission is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and make disciples of all nations, following the command of our Lord and Savior. We believe in the power and authority of the Word of God, and strive to live our lives in accordance with its teachings. Our church is a place of worship, fellowship, and growth for all who seek to know and serve God.
What we believe
We believe exactly what the scriptures say and not only do we believe, but we live out scripture in our daily lives. We believe that there is one God (Deut 6:4-5, Isa 45:5, Eph 4:5), We believe that salvation is through obedience and sanctification (John 3:3-5, Acts 2:38-39, Rev 7:14, Rev 12:11), We believe in miracles, signs, wonders (Mark 16:17) and that they are still happening today! If you are looking for a real experience with God in a church that only preaches and teaches Biblical Truth then we hope you will come and visit.
Our Heading
We feel that the Will of God for this congregation is to help people, to give hope to the hopeless, help others find purpose, and to build a lasting relationship between God and man. Through this relationship we know that God will raise up people to become the men and women that they are called to be. For His word Jer 1:5 says that God knew Jeremiah before he was born and if god knew Jeremiah and had a purpose for him then I know that He knows all of us and has a plan and purpose for us and not that we should suffer or fail, but that we should prosper and succeed(Rom 8:37)!
What to expect?
When you come to Apostles Doctrine Church, you can expect to meet a group of friendly believers, an atmosphere of peace and comfort, and a church that care s about the community. If you have children you can rest assured that they will have a great time in our Sunday school department thanks to our awesome teachers who are experts in making the bible both fun and educational. In the main sanctuary you can expect to hear sound doctrine and inspiring messages that will lead you closer to God.
